Preparation:​

  • Keep up to date with news to anticipate potential biological warfare strike 

  • Research the expected biological that is expected to be deployed

  • Stock up on medical supplies such as anti-viral/bacterial medications

  • Have a first aid kit ready

  • Stock up on food with long shelf life (cans, packaged food)

  • Charge all electronics

  • Have hygiene products (especially antibacterial soap)

  • Have a radio 

  • Stock up on purified water

  • Seal up windows and other cracks

  • Buy a respirator

  • Buy gloves/ safety goggles

  • Buy large/medium airtight bags 

  • Withdraw some money 

  • Move to a safer area (if possible)

  • Familiarize yourself with bioweapon safety procedures in your area

  • Follow instructions from the authorities

Surviving the Attack

  • Do not go outside until it is safe to do so

  • Letting someone inside may expose you to biological agents

  • Remain in an area that offers protection such as a basement or bunker. (Avoid windows)

  • Ration out food (2000 calories) and water

  • Conserve electricity

  • Wear a gas mask

  • Wear safety goggles/gloves

  • Place clothes in an airtight bag if you suspect they are contaminated

  • Avoid tap water 

  • Boil tap water if water is critically low (drink at your own risk)

  • Place waste in airtight bag

  • Shower to rinse of potential microbes
